The fine print

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 20, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and MyMayna LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“MyMayna,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or purchasing a membership or gift, you agree to them. We have kept them as short and plain as we honestly can. Questions: support@mymayna.com.

What MyMayna is — and is not

MyMayna is a companionship membership: daily voice conversations with Mayna, an AI companion; a Memory Book written from those conversations; and family and community connection. Mayna is artificial intelligence with a warm voice — she is not a person, and we are transparent about that with every member.

MyMayna is not a medical, emergency, or monitoring service. Mayna does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or mental-health advice, and our safety features are a caring extra set of ears — not a substitute for professional care or emergency services. If you or a loved one are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

Who can use MyMayna

Account holders must be 18 or older. The member receiving calls must also be an adult, and the person setting up the account must have their knowledge and agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including phone numbers for the member and family contacts.

Membership & billing

Free trial

The trial requires no payment card and simply lapses if you don’t join — there is nothing to cancel.

Gift memberships

A gift membership is a prepaid One Year Membership ($329.99). Gifts purchased before our October 2026 launch activate at the member’s first call. Gift memberships do not auto-renew; near the end of the year, the account holder can choose to continue.

Text messages

By providing a mobile number, you consent to receive account and security texts (sign-in codes), designated-contact safety alerts, and crisis-resource messages, as described in our Privacy Policy. We send no marketing texts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

The Memory Book & your content

The member’s stories belong to the member. The Memory Book is private to them; family can send topics and receives only what the member chooses to share. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — to record, transcribe, and store conversations so we can write the book and let Mayna remember. We do not use conversation content for advertising and we do not sell it, ever.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to breach security or others’ privacy, no reselling access, and no using MyMayna for anyone without their knowledge and agreement. We may suspend accounts that put members or the service at risk, and we’ll always try to talk with you first.

Changes to the service

We improve MyMayna continually and may add, change, or retire features. If we make a change that materially reduces what your membership includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel for a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused time.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

MyMayna is provided “as is.” Phone networks, carriers, and AI systems are imperfect, and we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and we’d much rather resolve them over email first.

Changes to these terms

When we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email and update the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
