A club of their choice

One curated club is included with every membership, meeting where the town already gathers — the library, the senior center, the museum. Book club, gardening circle, trivia, recipe swap: your parent picks the one that fits, and can switch whenever their interests do. Small groups, gentle pace, familiar faces.

Mayna helps them belong: she reminds them of this month's book on the morning call, asks what they thought afterward, and weaves the club's weekly question into conversation. New friendships start the safe way — a trusted host makes a warm, consented introduction in person. Never a public directory, never strangers reaching out cold.

Curated classes & events

The Community Tab shows their whole town on one friendly page — the senior center, the library, the museum, their parish if they want it — each with a real photograph. Anything happening today glows gold; tomorrow, blue, always with a plain “Today” or “Tomorrow” label for low vision. A watercolor class, a garden walk, an afternoon concert: a short, curated calendar instead of an overwhelming events board. And everything works by simply talking to Mayna — “what's on today?”, “sign me up.”

Then the part every other service ignores: the ride. Every event opens into ride options — family first, then the senior center van, volunteer and parish drivers, fare-free community rides, paratransit for those who qualify, and a family-approved paid backup — so a fallen-through ride never means a missed afternoon. An event can also show that “a few members are going” — an anonymous, opt-in signal, never names — so no one arrives alone, and no one can browse a list of who'll be where.

Local deals & discounts

The pharmacy, the diner, the garden center, the barber — MyMayna partners with local businesses so the membership pays for itself in the neighborhood, not on a website. Members carry a digital member card in the app — their name and a live credit balance, shown at the counter — and every credit is one more reason to get out the door and be a regular somewhere. Prefer paper? A simple physical card is available on request.

It's safe by its very design: no coupons to clip, no codes to read over the phone, no card numbers to hand out — exactly the things scammers imitate. The member card carries no payment details at all.
